Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar accused Job of foolish behavior, false speech, and weak leadership. Yet their message did not reach Job. There were two reasons for that. First, they did not have all the facts, and second, they did not understand the Law of Connection.
Many leaders make the same mistake. They proclaim their opinions, arguments, and theses without considering that they may not have all the information, or that there may not be a connection to the hearts of their listeners. Job called his friends miserable comforters.
Job 16:2 I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all.
Every good communicator seeks first to understand before wanting to be understood. He touches the heart before he asks for help. That is the Law of Connection, which every good leader needs for the success of their cause.
